What You’ll Do

• Develop detailed and accurate electrical (and mechanical) cost estimates for projects of all sizes — from conceptual design to competitive bids.
• Analyze blueprints, specifications, and proposals to determine material, labor, and equipment needs.
• Prepare and issue RFQs, secure competitive pricing, and build strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Collaborate closely with project teams to ensure accurate and profitable bids.
• Use estimating software such as Accubid to produce precise cost calculations.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities, process improvements, and contribute to estimating best practices.
• Mentor junior estimators and support company-wide estimating goals.

What You Bring

• 3+ years of estimating experience in construction — preferably within automotive, data center, or heavy industrial sectors.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field (or equivalent hands-on experience).
• Solid understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, drawings, and schematics.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Accubid Estimating Software.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative team player with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
