As a Security Professional - Armed Patrol in Jackson, MS , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more.

As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in supporting a secure environment at a financial institution location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and delivering outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, guests, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for any irregularities.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and promote a secure environment.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and any observations during patrols.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency personnel as needed in response to incidents or emergencies.
• Remain alert for unusual activity or potential threats, and report findings to the appropriate Allied Universal management and/or client contacts.
• Perform duties in accordance with established Allied Universal policies and procedures, as well as client-specific guidelines.
• Provide visible presence to help to deter potential criminal activity and promote a sense of security-related awareness within the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Possess a valid armed guard card or armed guard license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
