Overview The Varsity Tutors platform offers 1-on-1 online tutoring with flexible scheduling, remote delivery, and opportunities to leverage AI-powered tools to support teaching and learning. Responsibilities Provide 1-on-1 online tutoring to individual students. Accept on-demand tutoring requests when you’re available. Tutor remotely using the Live Learning Platform—no commuting required. Be matched with students best-suited to your teaching style and expertise. Invoice for tutoring sessions; payments are handled by Varsity Tutors. Qualifications Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style. Expertise in Technical Writing and the ability to explain concepts clearly. Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles. Priority given to those with tutoring experience, teaching experience, and graduate-level education. Compensation & Logistics Earn incrementally higher pay for each session with the same student—up to $40/hour. Get paid up to twice per week, ensuring fast and reliable compensation for the tutoring sessions you conduct and invoice. Set your own hours and tutor as much as you’d like. We handle the logistics—you just invoice for your tutoring sessions, and we take care of payments.
