Northrop Grumman is looking for a Staff Industrial Security Analyst. The candidate must have relevant experience supporting industrial security programs. Strong working knowledge of Intelligence Community Directives (ICD) and the National Industrial Security Program (NISP). Candidate must have strong interpersonal skills to be able to communicate effectively and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, make decisions amid ambiguity, and meet deadlines. Potential for CONUS travel (5-10%) of time. Develops and administers security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment. Studies and implements federal security regulations that apply to company operations. Obtains rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies. Prepares manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitor access to restricted records and materials. Establish and lead OPSEC working group meetings. Maintain close working relationship with customer OPSEC team and stakeholders. Provides security education and conducts security audits. Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Current Active TS/SCI with polygraph.
  • Bachelor’s Degree and 12+ years of relevant experience supporting industrial security programs OR Master’s degree and 10+ years of relevant experience experience supporting industrial security programs. An additional 4 years of applicable work experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
  • Leadership/Managerial Experience.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong skills in team building.
  • Strong skills in educating and mentoring team members.
  • Demonstrated success in leading organization change and transformation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to proactively identify security risks and vulnerabilities to recommend mitigations intended to improve program security.
  • Experience developing and implementing risk management plans.
  • Experience assisting with incident response activities.
  • General knowledge regarding open source information collection relevant to program protection.
  • Experience in the implementation of operations security (OPSEC programs).
  • Experience in the implementation of program protection plans.
  • Experience implementing multiple security disciplines to include personnel, physical, communications and operations Security programs and requirements.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively, ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, make decisions amid ambiguity and meet deadlines.
  • Strong leadership skills, self-starter with minimal supervision and, high ethical standards.
  • Ability to display tact, discretion, and diplomacy in dealing with all levels of employees.
  • Must be organized and efficient at time management.

Primary Level Salary Range: $141,400.00 - $212,000.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
