Overview

Senior Director, Project Management - HR Strategic Operations at Capital One. The Strategic Operations leader accelerates delivery of Enterprise HR (eHR) priorities and elevates HR operations globally. The role leads teams focused on strategic project and portfolio management, operating model, cross-functional partnership, and holistic customer success across the HR product portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Strategic project and portfolio management with prioritization based on highest leverage (including engineering capacity)
• eHR strategic operating model, including annual strategic and financial planning, scorecarding, management review cycles (MBRs, QBRs), leadership forums, and financial management in partnership with Finance
• Partner with LOB HR to strengthen interaction model and increase collaboration/velocity on two-way feedback loops
• Collaborate with HR and Corporate Communications on information architecture, knowledge management, and communications (newsletters, town halls, leadership forums)
• Holistic customer success and product marketing across the HR product portfolio
• Serve as primary liaison and escalation point for partnerships across the broader enterprise
• Additional chief of staff duties as needed

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree
• At least 4 years of Project Management experience
• At least 2 years of People Management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA)
• 5+ years of Project Management experience
• 3+ years of People Management experience
• PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification
• 5+ years of experience in scaled project or program management
• 3+ years of experience in product management
• 3+ years of experience in financial modeling or quantitative analysis

This role is eligible for performance-based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonuses and/or long-term incentives. Locations listed include McLean, VA and Richmond, VA with respective salary ranges; other locations follow applicable location pay ranges.
