What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations with a calm, problem-solving approach, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for any unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas, reporting any suspicious behavior or security-related issues to the appropriate channels.
• Maintain accurate and detailed logs of patrols, incidents, and other security-related activities as required by site procedures.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and/or emergency responders when necessary, following approved protocols.
• Remain alert and prepared to act in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines, including the use of assigned security equipment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• A valid guard card or security license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
