CLX Engineering is an industrial automation company specializing in airport baggage handling systems, airport automation, and theme park rides. We're looking for an Entry-Level Recruiter who is flexible, compassionate, has a sense of humor, and thrives in a challenging, team-oriented environment.

The Level I Recruiter is responsible for supporting and driving the day-to-day recruitment process across various departments, including engineering and administrative roles. This position assists with sourcing, applicant screening, interview coordination, and onboarding tasks. The role will also support general HR administrative functions as assigned.

This is an exempt level position reporting through the Finance/HR department. Candidates must live within commuting distance of Sanford, FL and must be authorized to work in the US now and in the future.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Recruiting Support:

• Assist and eventually create job posting and job description intake.
• Maintaining applicant tracking system.
• Source candidates through job boards, referrals, and social media platforms.
• Screen resumes and conduct initial phone screens to assess qualifications.
• Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
• Communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process.
• Assist with reference checks, background screenings, and offer letters.

HR Support:

• Help prepare onboarding materials and coordinate new hire orientation.
• Maintain accurate recruiting and employee records.
• Support compliance with hiring and employment documentation.
• Participate in HR administrative tasks as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• 0–2 years of experience in recruiting, HR, or administrative support.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Tenacious in the ability to get to work completed, but also to follow up with both active and future candidates.
• Must actively utilize all communication methods especially the telephone, emails, and text messages. Candidates who do not like to be on the phone will not be successful.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and online recruiting tools.
• Interest in pursuing a career in human resources and talent acquisition.
