Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
Perform MIG and TIG welding on steel, aluminum, and stainless steel components.

Interpret and work from blueprints, work orders, and welding procedure specifications.

Set up and operate welding equipment and tools safely and effectively.

Inspect and verify dimensions and tolerances using measuring tools.

Follow quality control processes to ensure welds meet company and industry standards.

Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with OSHA and company safety policies.

Perform basic maintenance on welding equipment.

Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals.

Report defects, malfunctions, or safety concerns to appropriate personnel.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or welding school preferred.

1-3 years of welding experience in a manufacturing environment.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

Proficient in MIG welding (TIG and Stick welding experience is a plus).

Familiarity with metal fabrication equipment such as grinders, saws, and plasma cutters.

Knowledge of safety standards and OSHA regulations related to welding and manufacturing.

Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Preferred Skills:
AWS (American Welding Society) Certification.

Experience with robotic welding systems.

Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles.
