Managing Director, TMT Core | Corporate Finance & Restructuring

We focus on our clients strategic, operational, financial, and capital needs by addressing the full spectrum of financial and transactional challenges faced by corporations, boards, private equity sponsors, creditor constituencies, and other stakeholders.

What You'll Do

• Manage the day-to-day activities of consulting projects, including leadership, team interaction, and client engagement.
• Apply business, economics, finance, accounting, and analytical skills to various client situations, including financial modeling, ratio analysis, review of financial statements, business plan assessment, valuations, and due diligence.
• Prepare complex financial projections and models to analyze business processes and transactions.
• Create quantitative models to solve business problems, analyze industry trends, and develop industry expertise.
• Maintain detailed working papers reflecting assumptions, methodologies, and data sources.
• Ensure quality and timely delivery of all work.
• Prepare reports, analyses, and presentations for third parties.
• Organize data for effective access and analysis.
• Represent the firm professionally internally and externally.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
• At least 12 years of experience in Finance or Accounting/Audit.
• Extensive experience with Corporate Finance principles, Financial Modeling, Valuations, and Due Diligence.
• Willingness to travel to clients and FTI offices.

Preferred Skills

• MBA, CPA, and/or CFE certifications.
• Experience in communications, media, consulting, or restructuring fields.
• Strong communication and client interfacing skills in demanding environments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet-based financial research resources.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities.
• Knowledge of bankruptcy and litigation processes.

Additional Information

• Exempt role, Level 5 - Managing Director.
• Regular employee status.
