America’s Auto Auction Group is a leading nationwide vehicle auction and remarketing company. Based in Carmel, Indiana, AAA operates across 20 states and is one of the nation’s fastest-growing auto auction groups. Our daily mission is simple: deliver the highest quality service and operational excellence for our dealers and institutional customers.

We are seeking a motivated Junior DevOps Engineer to join our IT Solutions team and support the continuous integration, deployment, and management of our Windows-based application environments. This role is ideal for a technically skilled individual looking to gain hands-on experience in automation, CI/CD pipelines, and environment reliability within a .NET and Windows ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain existing development, staging, and production environments.

• Assist in managing application deployments for .NET and Python-based systems.

• Troubleshoot and resolve environmental, application, and infrastructure issues.

• Collaborate with developers and senior DevOps staff to improve CI/CD processes and system reliability.

• Monitor systems and applications to identify and resolve issues proactively.

• Learn and apply DevOps best practices across source control, automation, and monitoring.

• Support process documentation, environment tracking, and release coordination activities.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

• Basic understanding of DevOps concepts, system administration, and software deployment processes.

• Familiarity with Windows Server, IIS, and application service management.

• Exposure to .NET Framework/Core, C#, or Python scripting.

• Working knowledge of SQL Server and database connectivity (preferred).

• Strong troubleshooting skills and a problem-solving mindset.

• Desire to learn modern tools and technologies for automation, monitoring, and configuration management.

Preferred Experience:

• Hands-on exposure to GitHub, Jira, or similar collaboration tools.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps).

• Understanding of infrastructure automation (PowerShell, Terraform, or Ansible).

• Interest in cloud technologies (Azure or AWS) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Willingness to grow into a broader DevOps or Systems Engineer role over time.
