Fund Finance Associate Attorney (Mid-Senior Level)
Direct Counsel is seeking a Fund Finance Associate to join a premier global law firm known for its strength in complex corporate transactions.
Position Overview
The firm is seeking a mid- to senior-level associate with 4–8 years of experience handling sophisticated corporate finance matters. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fund finance, subscription credit facilities, real estate-related subscription lines, commercial lending, and broader corporate finance transactions. This is a high-impact role with a firm that represents many of the world’s top asset managers, investment banks, and institutional investors.
Key Responsibilities
Draft and negotiate complex finance documents, including fund finance and subscription facility agreements
Advise clients on the structuring and execution of fund-level credit facilities
Work on a variety of secured and unsecured lending transactions, including bilateral and syndicated loans
Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys across the firm’s corporate, finance, and real estate groups
Mentor and supervise junior associates as needed
Qualifications
JD from an accredited U.S. law school
4–8 years of relevant law firm experience in corporate or finance transactions
Demonstrated experience in fund finance, subscription lines, and commercial loans
Excellent academic credentials and strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
Admission to practice in the jurisdiction of the office location or ability to waive in
Compensation
Salary range: $310,000–$435,000
