*Description:*
As an *Endoscopy Nurse (RN)*, you will be responsible for delivering quality patient care in the *endoscopy* setting by:
* Documenting patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed treatments specific to *endoscopy* procedures.
* Assisting physicians during *endoscopy* examinations and minor diagnostic procedures.
* Monitoring and observing patient physiological data before, during, and after *endoscopy* procedures, intervening when necessary.
* Administering prescribed medications and IV infusions during *endoscopy* treatments.
* Delivering high-quality patient care, including *endoscopy* procedure preparation and post-procedure care.
* Collaborating with patients and families to develop care plans specific to the *endoscopy* process, both during hospitalization and at discharge.
* Supervising *endoscopy* treatment provided by technicians and other service providers.
* Educating patients and families on *endoscopy* procedures and aftercare.
* Delegating tasks to support staff and referring patients for additional care related to *endoscopy* needs.
* Performing other duties as assigned.
*Requirements:*
* Current RN License in Oklahoma (or multistate compact RN License eNLC).
* Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification by the American Heart Association.
* Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification by the American Heart Association.
· Proficient in Epic or Cerner electronic medical record systems.
· Knowledge of *endoscopy* nursing theory, practices, and procedures.
· *Required:* Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
· *Preferred:* Bachelor of Science in Nursing from a Board-approved program.
· *Requires 2 years RN experience with recent experience in the specialty you are applying for*
