Under the supervision of the designated sergeant, and/or lieutenant, the custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean, healthy and safe work environment on a regular basis. Duties to include general office and restroom cleaning (sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, disinfecting, window washing and refilling lavatory supply dispensers), emptying and cleaning trash receptacles, recycling duties and operating floor buffer. Additional duties to include replacing light bulbs, lifting and loading, minor repairs of office furnishings and the maintenance and ordering of cleaning supplies and equipment.

The Custodian will work Monday-Friday, not exceeding 125 hours per month.
