We are looking for a seasoned Cobol/Mainframe Developer to support development and maintenance of mission‑critical systems. The role involves working with COBOL, CICS, DB2, and JCL in a structured SDLC environment. Prior experience with State Medicaid or Eligibility projects is preferred. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain COBOL programs with a focus on performance and reliability. Support online transaction processing using CICS. Design and optimize database queries and structures using DB2. Create and manage batch jobs using JCL. Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, including analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment. Required Qualifications 8+ years of experience in COBOL development, debugging, and optimization. Advanced knowledge of CICS for transaction processing and system integration. Proficiency in DB2 for database development and data management. Strong experience with JCL for batch job development and maintenance.
