Position Overview

We’re looking for a highly motivated Entry-Level BIM Engineer to join our in-office team in Dallas, Austin, or Houston. This role is ideal for candidates who are passionate about digital design, construction, and delivering high-quality results through coordination and modeling.

As part of our BIM/VDC group, you’ll support project execution by developing 3D models, producing fabrication files, performing material takeoffs, and coordinating with our internal teams across engineering, drafting, project management, and field operations. You will also assist during preconstruction by supporting design-assist efforts, coordinating models with design teams, and preparing early-stage project documentation.

Key Responsibilities

· Develop accurate Revit models for curtain wall and façade systems

· Perform material takeoffs.

· Collaborate with project managers, drafters, and shop/field teams to resolve issues and ensure quality deliverables.

· Use Autodesk Revit, BIM 360, and Autodesk Build to manage and share model information

· Interpret and work from architectural, structural construction documents and shop drawings

· Support coordination throughout all project phases — from preconstruction through installation

· Develop and maintain libraries of fully parametric BIM families for curtain wall systems

· Develop and execute solutions deploying VDC technologies to enhance company operations

· Deploy 4D simulation to enable visualization and execution from production through installation

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or Engineering

· Proficiency in Autodesk Revit (2 years)

· Familiarity with BIM 360 and Autodesk Build platforms

· High-level proficiency in Autodesk Revit and familiarity with parametric modeling

· Understanding of basic construction methods and terminology

· Ability to read and interpret construction drawings

· Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset

· Ability to learn and utilize new concepts and new skills quickly

· Ability to prioritize and plan work to meet agreed-upon deadlines

· Glazing experience is not required but is a plus

· Our candidate must currently live in the USA
