Activity Security Representative
Key Role:

Provide multi-disciplined security support to a customer's facility and organization. Perform a wide range of day-to-day security functions to ensure the protection of company and government sensitive and classified information in a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility ( SCIF ) . Work without considerable direction with some guidance from the Spe cia l Security Office ( SSO ) , Facility Security Officer ( FSO ) , and Contractor Spe cia l Security Officer ( CSSO ) in implementing security procedures to enable military, contractors, government civilians, and other tenants to support critical missions. Apply specific functional, working, and general expertise in multiple security fields, including personnel security, document control, visitor control, physical security, classification management, and prime and subcontract DD Form 254 administration. Interact with government security offi cia ls, clients, and employees to perform security duties, including clearance processing, personnel security record management, adverse reports, administrative inquiries, suspicious contact reports, visit certifications, and document control, and support industrial security efforts as needed. Provide security advice, guidance, and recommendations to all levels of staff and coordinate and c ond uct security briefings, debriefings, and Security Awareness Training and Education (SATE) sessions. Ensure the security program is compliant with DoD security requirements and prepare for and participate in security compliance audits and vulnerability assessments.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience using Defense Infrastructure Security for Systems ( DISS ) and Joint Access Database Environment ( JADE )
  • \n
  • Experience researching, processing, filing, and maintaining inbound and outbound visit notices
  • \n
  • Experience escorting facility visitors and maintain asso cia ted logs
  • \n
  • Experience c ond ucting entry and exit inspections
  • \n
  • Experience processing inbound and outbound classified mail and receipt records
  • \n
  • Experience with data entry and maintaining all customer sponsored billets and quota information
  • \n
  • Experience providing indoctrinations
  • \n
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • \n
  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
  • \n
  • Bachelor's degree and 1+ years of experience supporting daily Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information ( SCI ) and Spe cia l Access Program ( SAP ) activities for the DoD, or 3+ years of experience supporting daily Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information ( SCI ) and Spe cia l Access Program ( SAP ) activities for the DoD in lieu of degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with security investigations and pre-screening
  • \n
  • Experience with security policy or manuals and the appropriate ICDs, JFANs, and other guiding policy documents
  • \n
  • Experience using Micro sof t Office sof tware applications
  • \n
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • \n
  • Ability to provide constructive, tactful, and discrete security advice and guidance to personnel across all levels, including senior managers, peers, subordinates, and customers
  • \n
  • Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • \n
  • Possession of excellent organizational skills
  • \n
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,500.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
