\nKelly is seeking an Accounting Manager to work with our client, a leading direct-to-consumer retailer, on a direct hire basis. \nThe Accounting Manager will:\n

    \n\t
  • Report to the Senior Director of Finance\n\t
  • Lead month-end close processes, including review of reconciliations and journal entries (cash, prepaid expenses, payroll, accruals, etc.)\n\t
  • Ensure accuracy in compliance with GAAP\n\t
  • Analyze financial and cost data across balance sheet and income statement accounts\n\t
  • Prepare audit-ready supporting schedules for quarterly and year-end external audits\n\t
  • Oversee cash audits and applications, ensuring accurate reporting and reconciliation\n\t
  • Manage customer liability accounts\n\t
  • Handle cost validation and analysis on inventory purchases including process improvements\n\t
  • Manage and develop a team of accountants with an emphasis on professional development\n\t
  • Guide the finance team on technical accounting issues and compliance with policies\n\t
  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence\n\t
  • Lead cross functional projects focused on automation, efficiency, and scalability\n\t
  • Contribute to department and organization special projects as assigned\n
\nQualifications:\n\n
    \n\t
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required\n\t
  • CPA or MBA preferred\n\t
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in a fast-paced accounting department, including managerial experience\n\t
  • Experience in the consumer goods industry (or similar inventory-heavy industry) preferred\n\t
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, etc.) \n\t
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge, with proficiency in GAAP and audit preparation \n\t
  • Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines \n\t
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate across departments and levels of the organization\n
